We left Moniaive, and headed to Dunbar, Scotland. Before we left, we visited Andy Goldsworthy's Striding Arches. There was a big drive up lots of bumps that reminded me a little of the drive in Merisi, Ach'ara, except we weren't riding in military jeeps and no one was hanging on for dear life! Our hosts happened to have the key to the path up to the arches, since they work for the forestry service, so we were able to go by car most of the way up, and then hike the last 20 minutes.

We went from there to Edinburgh, where it was wonderful to meet up with members of the Georgian choir, whom I've met on various trips to Georgia and Scotland.
We were fairly spread out around the city for our housing arrangements, but it was nice to meet up together in this flat where we had our workshop and concert for cooking of shared meals, and Nutella mochas from the coffee shop downstairs.
From there, we went on to Dunbar, which was definitely a place I would visit again!
We stopped for a windy lunch by the sea in Belhaven. There may have been epic naked kelp battles in the waves, and there was definitely great shell hunting and collecting. I'll let you imagine who did what.
Dunbar is a quaint little town by the sea.
It is also, apparently, the sunniest place in all of Scotland, which we were fortunate to experience.
